Summer is already flying by, but we still have plenty of fun coming your way! A July calendar was handed out a couple weeks ago but if you did not get one please let us know and we will get one for you! We are also starting to look at fall and preschool so we will be keeping you updated on that as well. We also handed out a flyer on Friday for t-shirt orders!!👚 These are due by July 8th. Also, a friendly reminder that we will be closed Monday, July 4th for the fourth of July, but we hope you all have a great and safe holiday!🎇

Recap (preschool): Last week was, Going on a bear hunt. The teachers incorporated camping, the great outdoors, exploring, and so much more to go along

with this neat book.⛺ Although it was still a little hotter than we would like, we still got

out to get some of the sunlight, making many memories with the water table, in the sand, and of course chalk and lots of laughter. I think all of our kiddos agree that this

heat still beats the cold winter.😅

Recap (school age): Last week the school agers theme was Blast from the Past. They went to the Butterworth center, which is a historical home with so much to learn! They also had many activities throughout the week to learn about historical events, and facts that many found very interesting and wanted to know more about. The school agers ended this educational week with junior chefs that came to St. Johns

where they got to cook, and learn more about the kitchen.

This week (preschool): This weeks book is, Olivia forms a band. Our vocab words to go along with this book and week are, fireworks, gathered, band, marched, and patient. There will be so much music happening throughout the center, as our

friends learn about different instruments and the sounds they make.🥁 Our friends will

also be moving their feet, finding their rhythm and of course some fun fourth of July activities. Our friends will also be beating the heat by going to country style ice cream

for a tour and some yummy ice cream.🍦On the day your child(ren)’s class is scheduled

to go please have them in red! To wrap up this fun week, we will be having a tie dye day on Friday! Our friends will be given a white t-shirt that they will tie dye and get to take

home with instructions on their next steps before wearing it.😊

This week (school age): This week the school age will be doing That’s Show Business! They will be doing crafts, outdoors and indoor activities, shows, and more to go along with this topic. On Thursday, they will be going on a field trip to Circa 21 to

make this topic even better!🎤Please bring your child(ren) in blue that day! The school

agers will also be having a tie dye day on Friday as well, and be given a white shirt to do this with!
