Just a friendly reminder as we do approach the summer days, to please switch out your child(ren)’s extra clothes in their cubby’s to more comfortable clothes for the season change. Also, a reminder that we ask all our friends to have close toed shoes to play outside. We do not accept crocks as well with this, due to injuries from running in them (yes even in sports mode).
Last week: Last week’s book was Rainbow Fish, by Marcus Pfister. We spent so much time outside, even in the early morning. Our friends learned about the colors of the rainbow, the cycles of a fish’s life, and did many crafts and activities.
This week: This week’s book is I Like The Rain, by Sarah Nelson. We asked our families to collect recycled items throughout the month to bring in to create art for our art show on Thursday, April 20 from 3:30 to 5:30. Feel free to walk through the building along with the expansion to see the wonderful art the preschoolers, and school agers made!
Staying in the loop:
Friday, May 12: Library summer reading coming to IACW
Under Construction: All that is left is licensing! As soon as we get the licensing done we will be opening our new infant room! We also will begin the construction on the inside of the original building! More information to come closer to date.
Quote of the Week:
