It finally looks like we will be getting some warm weather soon!

Thank goodness!!! May calendars are out but please let us know if you are in need of another! Summer is just around the corner and we have started looking at summer enrollment. A summer survey has been sent out through brightwheel for you all to fill out. If you have not done so already please fill this out for a spot for the summer.☺ We already have so much fun planned for this summer and are so excited for the warm weather and plenty of memories being made.

Recap: Last week’s book was Dragons Love Tacos, which was perfect for Cinco De Mayo last Friday!      Our friends had some yummy tacos for lunch that our amazing Ms. Connie made to help celebrate.  They were a hit throughout the center. We also had a dragon cave in the center last week, that our friends had so much fun climbing and playing in and out of.

This week: This week’s book is Are You My Mother, by P.D. Eastman. This is great to go along with Mother’s Day on Sunday. Throughout this week we will be making gifts, talking about our special people that we will be honoring on Mother’s Day that take care of us, and we have a library visit from the Silvis Library, to discuss summer reading and to read to us on Friday. It looks like it will be so nice this week, but we are in hopes that the rain goes away so we can spend so much time enjoying that sunshine.

Under Construction: Doesn’t that fence look amazing?! We are so happy with how everything is looking so far, and are very excited to start on the inside of the main building. We are currently waiting on some more things for licensing and as soon as that is licensed and ready to go, our construction workers will be going inside. Just a reminder that we will NOT be closing during this time and will give you updates on the plan when the time is near.

Quote of the Week:

Maybe life isn’t going upward As you wish, but if you can learn from Yesterday, you can win tomorrow”.
